Traveling alone can be a daunting experience and one that requires keeping your wits about you, having common sense and adapting to the local culture, particularly when traveling in the Middle East http://www youramazingplaces.com

When out and about it’s also important to dress and behave respectfully. This means women should embrace the culture and cover up with loose, conservative clothing and politely but firmly dismiss any unwanted male attention. It also pays to be firm when shopping at markets. Egyptian prices are always negotiable so don’t be afraid to haggle to avoid being ripped off. This haggling culture is particularly welcome in laid-back Dahab and applies to anything from dinner by the beach to accommodation and scuba diving lessons.
